  • facebook_1345554081

The EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases is pleased to announce the 9th Annual Rare Artist Contest, which celebrates the unique talents of the rare disease community.  Changes from past contests are as follows:

    • Each category now has its own event page, helping voters discern which group they are voting for.
    • Two award recipients will be chosen from each category:
      • One will be decided by popular vote on Facebook.
      • The other will be chosen by a panel of rare disease community leaders.
    • Additional votes are allowed once every 10 days, so that winning the popular vote will be more of a sustained effort.
    • Pieces selected as award recipients or for special artistic merit awards will be displayed at our  Rare Artist Reception, held in conjunction with RDLA’s Rare Disease Week on Capitol Hill.  Artists residing in the United States whose work is chosen for this reception will be eligible for travel stipends through the EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases Rare Giving program,

If you have questions or concerns about the contest format, or do not have a Facebook account and would like to enter via email, please email the Contest Curator, Grant Kerber, at gkerber@everylifefoundation.org.
