2012 EveryLife Art Contest Results

Each year we are amazed by the incredible and moving art we receive for the EveryLife Art Contest, and this year did not disappoint. We received more entries than ever, 222 pieces (130 Adult entries, 38 Teen entries and 54 Child entries), a 20% increase from last year. We are proud of the growing interest in the contest and the support of the online Rare Artists’ Gallery.

Due to the large number of entries to the Adult age category, we created 2 divisions (within the Adult category): Photography & Digital Art and Painting & Other Media..

We received so much outstanding art that we decided to expand our acknowledgement of exceptional art and provide selected pieces with a special award. Therefore, in addition to awarding 2 grand prizes in each category, we recognized 28 pieces with a Special Artistic Merit designation and a $50 Visa Gift Card.

Each Grand Prize recipient received a Visa Gift Card (Children $100, Teens $250 and Adults $500) and an iPod Touch. Everyone is encouraged to use an iPod, smartphone or other video recorder to film their story about being an artist affected by a rare disease and post clips to their profile on this site.
