Working in my studio on fused glass pieces is a way for me to escape and forget my daily aches and feeling ill. I get lost in my artwork for hours at a time.

I try to depict scenes that I relate to and make me feel serene. This piece, Beach Scene, Solitary Chair, is a spot to sit and read and reflect on the sunset and passing boats, alone and at peace with myself.
