I am not much of an artist but having chronic illnesses forces you to think of ways to occupy your time without using too much energy. I like drawing and graphic design but before getting sick never made the time to draw as I was focusing too much on working. Having a chronic illness makes you stop to think about things and appreciate what you have rather than thinking about what you don't have. One of the biggest challenges is that people don't really understand and don't know what I go through on a daily basis. I try to just live my life the best way possible. Hopefully, I can make a small difference in the world of rare diseases by helping raise awareness of illnesses that most people don't know about
