When Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency started to affect my ability to keep up on hikes with my family, I used photography as an "excuse" for taking so many breaks. My excuse soon became my passion, and I’ve discovered beauty that I would have walked right past had I not been forced to slow down.
