This piece is pink because it is my favorite color and it says hope. The word hope is surrounded by hearts. It is made out of torn pieces of paper, a gift bag, a hair ribbon, a bow, a bandana, a ribbon, and markers.

I chose the word hope because I never lose hope that there will be a cure for Ataxia telangiectasia. Being an artist with A-T is hard, but fun. It’s fun because I get to explore what I am able to do on my own. It’s hard sometimes because I can’t always draw what I want. What I envision in my head I can’t always do with my hands.
