My Experience as an Artist with a Rare Disease(Acute Intermittent Porphyria). My ability to turn private thoughts into public expression used to be efficient and artistic.I could create meaningful, thought-out connections at will. Today sending the message from mind to hand when simply writing my name can be garbled.Verbal conversation is difficult at best when you can’t follow along or find your words. Transforming my AIP Experience into a visual expression has been extremely emotionally moving for me. I struggle with where AIP will take me from this point forward.
T. Suzanne Jaynes-Emmert
**(You will notice that after many hours and multiple edits each footnote imbedded in my presentation erroneously states Emmert-Jaynes… My maiden name is Jaynes… it should read:Jaynes-Emmert… I apologize for the error… AIP again)
