I chose to focus on biological imagery and medical conditions that are for the most part, caused by defects or flaw in one’s genetic make up. Some of the conditions

I have addressed are as slight and inconsequential as sinus structural problems, and eye irritations, while others as severe terminal conditions such as cancer, Alzheimer’s and Sickle Cell Anemia. All are based in part on errors in the genetic pathways.

Focusing on the theme of genetic disorders and conditions related to mutation or key missing elements was a way for me to therapeutically deal with my personal medical issues that I’ve had to contend with throughout my life.
