At age 13, after having dislocated my knees several times, I was diagnosed with the rare disease Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) type 3. I have pain everyday and wear a knee brace. Since my diagnosis, I’ve had a drastic change in how I look at life.
In the picture, the rows of corn seem to flow and continue to go on. The cut down stalks are gone but the future is still ahead.
With my EDS there’s always something that is going to try and stop my flow of life. I can’t change that I have EDS or what complications I’ve had, but I can look to the future and make the best of what I have.
