Sometimes chronic unexplained illness feels like a prison. Not always. Sometimes.A dark place that brings dark thoughts and drains joy. A place where laughter fades and the light of a smile dims. And sometimes it feels so good to think about throwing that door wide open, spreading those aching wings and flying away from that dark place. That’s a fierce, strong, and untarnishable thing.
