Rocker Mom

Adult Painting & Other Media (age 18+)

My passion for art seems to grow by leaps and bounds. I love being able to meet other artists and view their work. Having an illness means a change of lifestyle. It doesn’t have to mean the end to enjoying life.

I love being able to capture life’s tender loving moments in watercolor. A tiny child gently caressing momma’s pregnant tummy while she talks softly to her new baby sister. A man lost in thought as he peers in the antique store thinking about days that were gone much to fast. Art is about emotions and feelings.

When we are ill we are so restricted by the limited amount of things we can do. Yet when we create there is a whole world that opens up to us. We have the chance to put our illness aside and share our passion with others. The greatest joy is finding others who are ill and helping them to unleash their creativity. It is at that moment when the illnesses no longer define us but rather help us enter into the adventure of a lifetime.
